- The management of information in the Department including the determination of strategic information requirements, the development and maintenance of appropriate information systems and the collection, analysis, interpretation as well as the
presentation of such information.
- The co-ordination and facilitation of inter-governmental relations between the
Department and relevant National, Provincial and Local Government agencies within intergovernmental structures as well as with stakeholders and civil society.
